In 1982, married Rick Cody, Class of 1977. Currently work for the Maine Emergency Management Agency in Augusta as the Assistant to the Director. Have been with the State of Maine for over 24 years. Have a son, Joshua, who is 20 and works for the Gardiner Police Department and Gardiner Fire Department, a daughter, Ashley, who is 19 and attending college for nursing. Own a wonderful old (circa 1820) house in South Gardiner, where we have lived for 19 years, and spend a lot of our time fixing it up. Freddie is an entertainer who travels the country playing festivals, fairs, and special events. Lane is also a rock and roller; he plays guitar, keyboards, and sings in the youth band at our church. He is also a certified black belt after studying his art nine years, and he teaches at his dojo. I have been teaching full time since 1986. I recently resigned from my current position as a principal and a middle school teacher for the last seven years at a private school in Palmdale, California so I could return to teaching full time. I am also a Youth Leader at CLA in Lancaster for teenagers. We just returned from youth camp last week; it was awesome.
